I love Bears

Tutorial by Jcuttlebear01 aka JoAnn
9/15/2011
I do these tutorials for fun and not
for any profit. I use them also as a learning tool to
help others learn the fun and art of paint shop pro.
All things I use are collected, the only thing I claim
Is the tag I make with these as my work.
This tutorial is written with the idea you
have some knowledge of PSP.

This was done in PSP 9 but should work with any.
Supplies
Mask
Tubes of choice
Font of choice>I used AR BONNIE
Template

Plug ins
Alien Skins 5 impact HERE
Filters Unlimited HERE
AAA foto frame: HERE
Eye Candy 3: HERE
Be sure and install all plug ins needed
before you open your psp.
Open all your supplies in psp and
minimize them.
Place your mask if your psp mask folder.
Open the template in PSP make a copy
and close the original.
Delete the copyright layer you won't need it.
Image canvas size
You want room to work>we will resize later.

Activate the circle layer>magic wand>feather
set to 5, that way it gives you a cleaner look.
New layer>flood fill with color of your choice.
I'm using #98533e for the background.

Deselect

a paper texture of choice......I used
Rag paper with default settings.

Settings I used.
All shadows will remain the same unless
otherwise stated.

Large Rectangle>activate and do the same as in
last step, but use a different color.
I used #c6a98f

On layer pallet activate layer 3>give it a texture effect.
I gave mine>filters unlimited background pattern
Hemp paper 1 nature.

Deselect

Large heart>activate>and flood fill with color of choice,
then do it again with another color. It will look like this.
Filters unlimited and give it an effect>I used special effects 1>aged film.
Eye candy 3 glass  with these settings.

Deselect
Eye candy 5 impact>same drop shadow as on the other layers.

Small heart and do the same as above but use different
colors and effects.
I changed the eye candy 3  glass with these settings.

Drop shadow

Now we are ready to add some tubes to the template.

If your using the bear from the supplies>resize
by 60 percent>copy and paste as new layer
Move over to the top of the small rectangle.

Add same drop shadow or one you like.

Add some flowers to the left side, and any

other accents you would like for your tag. I

use the deform tool a lot to move and turn things
like I want them.

Here is what I have so far.

I also took my mover tool and moved
some of the template down and placed
it how I wanted it.

If your happy with every thing and the way it looks.

Merge all layers.

Add a new raster layer and flood fill with a color you
want your background.

Add another new raster layer and flood fill it with the
color you want the mask to be.

Go to layers>load saved mask from disc>
                                                                        Open

Layers merge group.

Resize the mask by 80 percent.

Crop off some of the extra you don't want in your tag.

Effects>AAA foto frame

Add any wording or anything else at this time.

Merge all layers

Add a new raster layer and add your water mark.
Your now ready to save and share your work of art.

Yippee your all done.
Would love to see what you do with this.
Thank you for giving my tutorial a try.
I do hope you have enjoyed this tutorial, as much
as I did writing it,
and learned something new.
Have any questions or need help.
Just let me know, I'm always happy to help any way I can.
Another I did using a different mask, and
flowers and accents from a scrapbook kit.
