I do these tutorials for fun and not
for any profit. I use them also as a learning tool to
help others learn the fun and art of paint shop pro.
All things I use are collected, the only thing I claim

Supplies
Template 37 HERE
Scrapbook kit HERE
Called My lady bug it's a free one on her site.
Both template and scrapbook kits are the wonderful
work of Lacarolita's Designz

Ones I used are HERE
Tube of choice
Graphic of choice.
No plug in's used in this tutorial
PSP of your choice, I did this one in 9

1. Open the template and make a copy of it and
close the original.

2. Delete all the layers except for these

3. Make your background layer active,
resize it down to 90 percent. Click on the outside of the layer
and then you will go to selection and invert. Then delete keep selected.

4. Pick a color from your tube your going to use or you can add a paper of choice
from the kit.
I used a red from the tube I'm using.
Deselect

5. Effects and texture weave.
You can add something different if you wish it's fun to play around.

6. Activate layer 1 and select it
copy and paste your graphic into selection.
Deselect


7. Activate layer 2 and click on it and copy and paste a paper
you would like to use for the frame. Copy and paste as a new layer,
invert and hit delete one time to get rid of the extra.
Deselect

8. Effects 3D inner bevel.....settings I used

9. Close off all layers except for layer 1 and your graphic you added,
merge them......then reopen the others.

10. Activate layer 3 and click on it, and you will need to do both sides of this layer,.
Then copy and paste as a new layer another paper of choice, or you can
just flood fill with a color of choice.
I used paper 1

11. Then selection invert and hit delete one time.
Deselect ......I used this bevel for this layer

12. Activate layer 4 now and copy and paste another paper you
wish to use I used paper 2,
as a new layer, and
Once again invert and hit delete
Deselect
Add a bevel to this layer.

13.
Activate layer 5 and copy and paste another paper,
I used paper 3, . Do like last step.

14. Now you can close off the merge layer and the background and
merge these layers together, you should only have 2 merged layers and
the background remaining.

15. Take your mover tool and move the layers how you want them to look.
Now we are ready to add some accents.
I used the lady bug leaves, resized them to
50 percent. Then move them down just above the background layer.
Then image flip.
Activate your deform tool and turn them how you want them.

16. Then I duplicated it and image mirror then flip
I then took my eraser tool and removed anything I didn't want to show.

17. Add lady bug flower 5 and copy and paste it to your work,
and resize it to 20 percent if it's not your top layer now,
make sure you bring it up there, and move it to the left hand corner
of the frame, you can take your deform tool and turn it how you like it.

18. Then duplicate this layer, and image flip and mirror move to the top right hand corner.
What I have so far.

19. Get the tube you want to use and copy and paste it to your
work as a new layer resize as needed, I went to 60 percent on this one.
Place it how you want it.

20. Add a drop shadow if you wish

21. Now add the rest of the accents you want on your tag,
I used Butterfly 2 and resized it to 15 percent.
And placed it on the flowers.

22. Then a added a couple of the lady bugs.
I resized them to 10 percent and used the deform
tool and turned them and placed them how I wanted.

23. I also added the red ribbon in the one corner.

24. If your happy with everything you can merge all layers now.

25. I added a 1 pixel white border

26. Next a 5 pixel border of black

27. And a 5 pixel border of red.

28. Selection and all modify contract by 15 Invert and add the same bevel
as before if you wish.

29. Now add any wording, name and your watermark and
your ready to share your work of art.

PSP 9
Is what I used for this tutorial.

Find a graphic you wish to use.

1. Open the template and duplicate, and close the original.

2. Delete all layers except for these


These are the ones we will be using.

3. Activate the background layer
Resize it by 95 percent.
Selection all and float, get a paper you
want to use for the background and copy and paste it into the selection.
I used paper 3, afloat then add an inner bevel to this color.....#eed876
if you use the same background as I did.

Deselect

4. Activate layer 1, and get selection tool, and click on it,
selection modify contract by 3, then selection modify,
selection, select border

5. Then find a paper or color you want to use for this frame part,
I used paper 10 and copied a pasted it into the selection,
now give it the same bevel as before, then deselect

6. Make layer 7 active and select all and selection float,
find a paper you want to use, I used paper 6, copy and paste
into the selection, the give it the same bevel as before.
deselect

7. Activate layer 5 and click on it, then copy and paste the
graphic into the layer you wish to use.
Then selection, float now effects 3D
cut out

8. Then reapply and change the V and H to -3
Deselect

9. Activate layer 1 and click on the inside that is still gray there and
add a color you want for the contrast on the frame part.
I used paper 7, then copy and paste into the selection,
then add the same bevel as before.
Deselect

10. Activate layer 7 and give it a drop shadow effect.

11. Then close off your back ground layer and merge
visible, reopen the back ground.
This is what I have so far.

12. Now add some flowers I used
Flower 3 and resized it by 50 percent.
Then copied and pasted as a new layer.
Then mirror image, I then took my selection tool and cut off the part of the
flower that hung over on the picture,

13. Now copy and paste your flower once more.....
Take and move it below the merged layer
Resize it to about 45 percent, now take eraser tool and get
rid of anything you don't want to have showing.
I took my deform tool and turned mine some and pulled it out a bit
so it went like I wanted it to.

14. Then add a couple butterflies to the flowers.
Resize them to 15 percent and I mirrored one so they
weren't all going the same way.

15. Add the same drop shadow to the flowers and the butterflies as before.

16. Add the scarecrow that is in the kit resize him by 30 percent and move him over to the right, give
him the same drop shadow.

17. Add the apple barrel and resize it by 15 percent add the same drop shadow

18. Add the wagon and resize it by 30 percent, and give it the drop shadow also.

19. Find a bow you want to use and resize it to 10 percent and move it to the right hand
top corner. Then I took my deform tool and turned it how I wanted it.
This is mine so far..........if your happy with it then merge all layers

20. Now resize your image, not all layers just the graphic part.
This is what I went down to.

21. Add a new layer and send it to the bottom
Find a paper you want to use for the mask part
I used paper 2
I used babe designs mask 13

22. I then duplicated the layer a couple of times so it was darker, and
can be seen easier.
Then merge all layers.
Add a drop shadow to this now.

23. Add a new layer move it to the bottom
selection all, and copy and paste a paper you want
to put into there for a background
I used paper 5
Deselect

24. Crop your image now to get rid of the extra there you don't want in your tag.
Then add a 3 pixel border color of your choice.

25. Add a 2 pixel border of white

26. Add a 10 pixel border I used a color from my background.
Select then add the same bevel as before.
Deselect.

27. I now added my lady tube to this.
I resized her by 50 percent and mirrored her.
Then gave her the same drop shadow as before.

We are now done.......add your watermark
And merge all layers
You can now add a name or anything else you want to this.

If your happy with it then time to save your work of art.

Supplies
Graphic of choice
Tubes of choice or

Two Moon plug in HERE
Graphic plus plug in HERE

PSP of choice I did this in 9

Remember to save often in case your psp closes.

1. Open graphic you want to use.
This is the one I'm using.
It is in the supplies also.
Duplicate it 2 times and close the original
Minimize one for now we will use it later.

2. Pick a dark color for your foreground #94672d

3. And a light color for you background #b89b65

4. Add a 3 pixel border
Select the border and add gold fill.
This is the one I'm using, it is in the supplies
or save this one to your files.
Angle 0, and size 100

5. Selection invert and 3D cut out

6. Reapply but change the V and H to -3
Deselect

7. Add a border of 4 pixel in your foreground color
I used #94672d

8. Add a border of 3 pixel of white and select,
flood fill it with the gold pattern.
Deselect.

9. Add a 20 pixel border of the foreground color, and select
add a new raster layer, and copy and paste your graphic into the selection.
image and mirror.

10. Effects: Two moon Quilt

Note:

If you want the quilt darker then just repeat it.

11. Effects 3D inner bevel I used the light color for the bevel

Deselect

12. Add a 3 pixel border of a color that isn't in your graphic
and select flood fill with you gold pattern.
Deselect.

13. Add a 4 pixel border of the dark color

14. Add another 3 pixel border and select and flood fill with the gold.
Deselect

15. Add a 30 pixel border using the light color, then select.
Graphic plus cross shadow, you can play and get some thing you like or
use these settings.

16. Add the same inner bevel you used earlier or one that you like better.
Deselect

Now you can add corner accents and some tubes if you wish.
I made the corners and they are in the zip file.

If you are happy with everything
Then Merge all layers.
Add your water mark
and you are done and ready to save.

PSP 9

1. Open a new image
600 X 500

Find a graphic you wish to use.
This is the one I used for this tutorial.

2. Selection and select all, copy and paste paper
Paper 13 from the scrapbook kit, in to your image.
Rename you layer to background.
deselect.

3. Now get the distressed wood frame,
and copy and paste it onto you image,
You will need to re size it.
I went down to 60 percent.
Rename this layer to Frame.

4. Get selection tool and click on the center of the frame,
Selection modify and expand by 10.
Add a new raster layer.
Rename this layer to graphic.

5.Copy and paste your graphic in to this layer.
In your layer pallet move the graphic below the frame layer.

Selection modify contract by 5, selection float.

Effects 3d

6. Repeat but this time use a minus 5
Deselect

Optional:

You can add xero porcelaid to the graphic if you wish.
It give the graphic a different look.

7. Close off the background and layers merge visible.

Now lets add some accents to this.

8. Take your frame and move it up to the left hand corner

9. Find the ivy in the scrapbook kit and copy and paste to your work.
Re size it to 40 percent and move over to the corner like you want it.

10. Effects 3 D and drop shadow

11. Add the fall flowers bundle 1
Re size by 50 percent.
Add to the right hand side of your frame.
Arrange it the way you would like to.

12. Find the dried bundle and re sized it to about 40 percent.
Take your deform tool and turn it how you want it to look.


13. Now find a Scarecrow or use the one I have put in the files.
Copy and paste it onto your image re size as needed.
I re sized the one I used by 40 percent.
Arrange him where you want him to be.

14. Add same drop shadow to him.

15. I added another scarecrow to the other side,
and re sized him 40 percent also and drop shadow.
If you use these little guys I have included in the kit
be sure and add the copy write to you work.

16. Add the tag from the kit to your work and re size it
I went down 30 percent, then move it to the upper right
hand corner there, you might have to move the dried
flowers around so it will fit like you want it.
I took the deform tool and turned it tell I was happy with it.
And even re sized it a bit more with it.
Add a drop shadow to it now.

17. Now you can add some extra leaves to your work
I re sized them down to 10 percent and placed different ones
where I wanted them and used the deform tool to make them how
I wanted them, and a slight drop shadow to them if you wish.

18. Add some words to it if you wish it is all up to you.

Add your water mark to your work.
Merge all layers

When your happy with the way it looks,
layers merge all.

Crop your tag at this time.

19. Now add a 2 pixel border color of choice

20. Add a 3 pixel border another color

21. Add a 10 pixel border color of choice.

22. Activate the 10 pixel border and find a paper you want to use
to accent, and make like a frame.

I added paper 10 from the kit and copied and pasted it into my selection.

23. Then gave it an inner bevel.

If happy with it deselect and your all done.
Ready to save your work of art.
