Beauty of the world

Tutorial by Jcuttlebear01 aka JoAnn
I do these tutorials for fun and not
for any profit. I use them also as a learning tool to
help others learn the fun and art of paint shop pro.
Everything I use I have collected don't claim to have
made anything other then the tag.
AP01 Innovations>lines silverling HERE
Alien skins eye candy 5 texture HERE
Alien skins eye candy 5 impact HERE
I used psp 9 but any should work for this.
Some knowledge of psp is very helpful.
Graphic of choice
accents of choice
Font of choice
My Supplies HERE
Install plug ins if you need to
Import presets the preset>jcuttlebear01glass into your
eye candy 5 impact>glass
Import presets the preset>Jcuttlebear01weavedesign
into your eye candy 5 texture effect>weave
Open new image 700 X 500
Pick a light color for your foreground
and a dark color for your background
from the graphic your going to use.
Flood fill with your background color
Effects>plug ins>AP01 Innovations>lines silverling
8, -1, 20, 0, 0, 0  Doty Grid
effects>edge effects>enhance.

Add a new raster layer>selection>load selection
from disc>JAG1  Flood fill with your foreground color.

Keep selected>modify>select>modify>select, selection border
Add a new raster layer>
Flood fill with a nice gold or color of choice.
One I used is in the supplies.
Keep selected>effects>3D inner bevel

Magic wand and select on the inside of the squares again.
Selection modify>expand by 5
Add a new raster layer
copy and paste into
selection a graphic of choice.
Layer arrange move down.
Layer merge down twice, you should only
have 2 layers left at this time.
 Add a new raster>selection>load selection
If the selections will not show just change
in the box to these settings

Flood fill with colors of choice.
Keep selected
Effects>texture effects>polish stone>

you can mess with the settings if you like and change
them to get a different look.
Edge effects>enhance

Add drop shadow

Layer>new raster layer>selection>load selection from disc>JAG 3
Flood fill with color of choice>use a different color then on the top.

effects>texture effects>polish stone same settings.
Edge effects>enhance

This is how mine looks so far.
Now would be a great time to save your work just in case.
Merge all layers flatten
add a 1 pixel border color of choice, one that
is not in your graphic but looks good.
Layer>promote layer to back ground
Resize the merged layer by 95 percent,
Add a new layer>layer arrange move down>flood fill with
foreground color.
Select inside the part on the edge
Add a new raster layer>
Flood fill with the background color
Keep selected
Effects>plug ins>Alien skin>texture>weave>
use one of your choice or use the settings I did.
You can use my settings, but if your using a different
color other then mine, you will need to change
in the basic settings
the color you want them to be.
Selection>invert>effects>3 D cut out
Repeat but change the V and H to -2
Merge all flatten>
Image>add a 2 pixel border white>select
Flood fill with the gold pattern you used earlier>
selection>invert>Effects 3D Cut out>hit ok
Repeat>change the V and H to 2
Add 3 pixel border> color black
Add 2 pixel border>color white>select
and flood fill with the gold pattern
Add 30 pixel border>white>new layer
copy and paste your graphic into selection.
Effects>plug in>Alien skin eye candy 5 impact>glass
Make sure you change the color in basic setting to
go with what your working on.
Add tube>xcen-el15 resize by 55 percent.
Give a drop shadow of choice.
I used the same as before.
Mirror and move him down to the right hand corner.
Layer>duplicate>resize by 75 percent and move over
by the other one.
Layers>merge down.
Copy and paste as new layer>7 d. lady tube, or one of choice.
Resize to your liking>I went down on this one to 65
Give this a drop shadow
Move over and down to the left.
Add word art of choice, the one I used, It is in
the supplies, and can be used as a brush.
called>word art brush
If you use a brush be sure and add new layer>
and you can use the color of choice.
Place it where you like it the best.
Give it a nice drop shadow of choice.
Add another layer and find brush>brush2 if you wish
and place it where you want it.
Give it the same drop shadow.
If your happy with the way every thing looks
Merge all flatten
Image>add a 2 Pixel border>white>select>flood fill with the gold
Selection>invert>effects 3D cut out with
same settings as before.
Add a 3 pixel border with the background color
add water mark and your ready to save your work of art.
Your now all done.
